Return & Refund Policy

Overview

Jason Metalworks creates handcrafted rings, jewelry, accessories, and specialty metal goods. Because each item is individually crafted, variations in color, pattern, texture, and finish are normal and expected. This policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled.

Eligibility for Returns

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for items that are:

- Unused and unworn

- In original condition

- In original packaging

To begin a return, contact us at jasonmetalworksllc@gmail.com with your order number and photos of the item.

Non‑Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned:

  • Custom, or personalized pieces

  • Items showing signs of wear, damage, or alteration

  • Items exposed to chemicals, abrasion, or misuse

  • Earrings (for hygiene reasons) unless defective

  • Final‑sale or clearance items

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or denial. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Refunds may take 5–10 business days to appear depending on your bank or payment provider.

Restocking Fees

A 10% restocking fee may apply to non‑defective returns to cover inspection, cleaning, and repackaging.

Exchanges

Exchanges are permitted for sizing or product changes if the item is eligible for return. Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the exchange is due to a manufacturing defect. Please see warranty policy for more info.

Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective or incorrect item, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos. Manufacturing defects are covered under our limited warranty; normal wear, oxide‑finish changes, and damage from misuse are not.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we are not responsible for lost return packages.

Warranty and Limitations

Jason Metalworks provides a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials or craftsmanship. The following are not covered:

- Scratches, wear, or color changes to oxide finishes (normal behavior of a living edge)

- Damage caused by chemicals, abrasion, impact, or misuse

- Epoxy clouding or yellowing due to UV or chemical exposure

- Natural variations in product patterning or oxidation

- Loss of gemstones due to impact or improper care

Warranty claims require proof of purchase and clear photos of the issue.
